That server is misconfigured in some way that is preventing it from responding properly to what you're asking for. I cannot see any relevant in the logs... I set the darned thing up and forgot that I had customized the .htaccess for the rackspace environment. Although the 500 error requires further investigation, it appears there is a conflict between installation root directory .htaccess and the apache http.conf file.
