Gotta love free and open source programs like that. Someone please help if you can I have a disk I want to back up and I am unable to do so. I think I heard that you can simply burn the avi / VTS files to dvd with another program, but I can't seem to be able to do it with nero. Ive been backing up all the newest releases and haven't had more than 4 that needed anything beyond DVD decryptor to rip the more protected ones... In case you wanna encode several DVDs in a row unattended use MultiShrink. Make sure All options in DVD Shrink are set correctly and running the latest version. 4. As far as dvd encryption goes, DVD decryptor is a great utility to just rip the video with minimal to no qualtiy loss. useful reference If and when DVD Decrypter finishes ripping then I'd mount the ISO with VirtualCloneDrive and then re-rip with AnyDVDHD because it happens to be very good at repairing structure damage- it's Gotta love free and open source programs like that. Your error doesn't say "CRC" so my guess is it isn't. Rubbing very firmly in even strokes from the center outwards towards the edge. The playing before hand is only so that your ripping program can “Find” your DVD. "Dr. Dvd Copy Error DVD Shrink will give you problems even if you get that drive.

the thing is my dvd movie is brand new straight out of the box and plays perfectly in the dvd player.
