I rip the DVD with DVD Decrypter to my hard drive which leaves it compressed which exceeds 4.7GB, so after ripping I run it through DVD Shrink in full disc and quality-wise, for instance, dvd movie 'casual sex' was very good at 50% setting, watching it on the 7 inch LG tablet. and i want to see how each ripped video looks on my LG tablet to determine if the quality is satisfactory enough, however, after ripping dvd's, i was issued the following Dvd Shrink Encountered An Error Out Of Memory They're cheap, but they can't burn at 16x. does anyone have a better clue why i am getting this and how to resolve ? I quit using Shrink for compression many years ago, and went entirely to DVD Rebuilder Pro personally, but I'm picky. I haven't tried DVDShrink using just DVDFab's Passkey Lite. i've been testing this process out since it seems to be the least amount of steps and fastest so far. By posting to this forum you agree to abide by the rules. Both of these are transcoders. And these days, I almost never compress DVD's anymore, since I don't buy them.
If I were you I would just continue with DVDShrink for most compression. Is there any other way I can stop DVD Shrink from buffering > 1 GB when grabbing the one title off of Forgotten? Unfortunately, the project was abandoned, but hopefully it still works. What I did was to use shrink with the original dvd and click open disk instead of using decrypter to rip the movie.

When I read your post, I tried ripping a TV episode from two different DVDs at 50% and I thought the result was pretty average. Mind you I looked at the "shrunk" video using my TV.
I Unclicked the indexing (t speed up slowdown problem) for memory and installed a memory software to help with memory management, upped the virtual memory to 1500mb min and 3000mb max,
