I use pyNeighborhood with the command sudo mount.cifs and the parameters iocharset=utf8,uid=1000,gid=1000 There is no additional output when starting OpenOffice via command line. After inserting a *.jpg or *.png openoffice freezes completly. All the files you were working on will now be saved.
Can I use half-lap joint for table breadboard? Now I tried to remove this file and add it again. I too have the same problem: leave swriter or scalc idle and when you try to work with it again it crashes. If you are running the Ubuntu Stable Release you might need to enable apport in /etc/default/apport and restart.

None, the status of the bug is updated manually. It does appear to be a multi faceted issue and I don't think it is anything as simple as file specific. I also couldn't open an old .dbf file. I enclose three files: notopened.ods: a ods file that I can't open from the network whereas it can be opened on my local drive opened.xls: the same file converted in xls I figured it was samething to do with WM but couldn't figure what. It was created, from scratch, from OpenOffice as a blank file, initially saved as *.odt, then converted to *.rtf when I remembered what other computers I would need to use to

Attached: 1) original OOo installation guide odt, the guide saved as a doc, and the guide saved as an rtf. Does anyone have any ideas - this is driving me nuts! I'll see what I can do to collect some. The file I used was a large 97/2000/XP .doc file containing lots of formating and a few images.

I believe I provided enough data (a document, version information and simple instructions) to put anyone with a LTS system in a position to reproduce the issue with little effort. Goodness knows what that tells you but it's odd.
Please follow these instructions to have apport report a new bug about your crash that can be dealt with by the automatic retracer. However, your crash report is missing. If I attempt to launch the program without opening a document, the startup screen appears - looking functional - then disappears and does nothing. I'll keep you updated on issues found. This is necessary for certain applications that break with cifs style mandatory byte range locks (and most cifs servers do not yet support requesting advisory byte range locks). For reference: What is the difference between OpenOffice and the newly created LibreOffice? I am unable to reproduce this issue in LibreOffice Writer via the Terminal: cd ~/Desktop && wget https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openoffice.org/+bug/556169/+attachment/1574464/+files/Installation_Guide_OOo3.rtf && lowriter -nologo Installation_Guide_OOo3.rtf File -> Save As -> Save button -> Yes
