I have no idea what causes the error, but if I find anything, I'll let y'all know. Hopefully over the weekend, I'll have a try at the wireless streaming again, with the PS3 configured with manually entered DNS servers. Well firstly, I think it may be due to the closed ports but I haven't deduced that part yet. I have the one upstairs hard wired and running firmware version 3.10 with no issues. have a peek here
I tried playing a HD film yesterday over wireless and although it played, it was very stuttery. Has anyone else had these experiences? I have a wireless N router. Not sure what Sony did back in firmware ~2.5 but it used to work flawlessly. Ps3 Dlna Protocol Error 2101 The PS3 keeps telling me DLNA and network errors are occcuring, most often DLNA error 2104.

The way to solve this problem that worked for me was. ALL now work perfectly, NO dlna errors, no pausing or stuttering. Or do you have no issues at all with streaming? DLNA 2104 seems to be a time out, as when I have been browsing folders the DLNA 210 flashes up but disconnection doesn't occur immediately. If I connect the D-Link router to the modem and then connect the PS3 to that, I don't get the DLNA errors and the music and videos play perfectly. All previous firmwares posed no issues. The one downstairs constantly got the 2104 error when accessing videos from my PC.
