But when it comes to viewing or even copying large amounts of data (8Gb), thats when I get the DLNA error, Looks like I will be going down the cat5 route I've just done a bit of testing, and it seems that the really big files are messing up the streaming. I'm using a Linksys WRT54GL, flashsed to using DD-WRT V24 SP1, Vista SP1. I connected my Mac using MediaLink (by all accounts good software) and switched on the HDMI output on my TV. I'm new! Hope this helps as a workaround to Sony's software problems.
